Our advanced search uses operators (+,-, ", *) to help you fine tune your search results. Entering a search query without any operators defaults to searching for any products that may contain any of the words you entered as your query. All of the operators with the exception of the * operator should be placed preceding the word. All of our searches are performed case insensitive, capitolizing words in your query wont effect the search results. |

A leading plus sign indicates that this word must be present in the products description for it to be returned. It will not return any products that do not contain that word. |

This example specifies that all products that are returned must have word trend in it as well as either the words air or shield |

- |
A leading minus sign indicates that this word must not be present in any of the products returned. A word with a preceding minus sign (-gloves) means that any products returned will not have the word gloves in them. |

This example will return all gloves, excluding gloves that have the word nitrile in it. |

" |
A phrase that is enclosed in double quote (" " ") characters will match only products that literally contain that phrase. Use a double quote search if you are looking for something very specific. |

This example will return all products that have the phrase "Venture II" in them. |

* |
The Asterisk serves as a wildcard operator. Unlike the other operators it
should be appended to the word to be affected. Words are matched if they begin with the word preceding the * operator. This operator is useful if a word you want to search may have multiple similar spellings. |

This example will return all products that have the word peltor or a combination of words that contain 'ear' and something else preceding it, for example earmuffs,earplug, etc. |

For example: "Pyramex Ztek safety glasses with wrap around design lets you see in all directions." will be returned, while "Your safety is our concern and we want to provide you with the best protective glasses available." will not be returned because the exact phrase "safety glasses" does not appear in the second
sentence. |
